Good Morning Purefoy Friends!





I hope your TAKS week as been smooth. (enjoyable just didn't seem to fit, kind of an oxymoron, TAKS and enjoyable. HA!) I knowsome of you have had some concerns and I wanted to try to set some of your fears at ease.





As with any new experience, there is some nervousness, anxiousness, and excitement. I know that these feelings extend to you as parents as well. Please know that your child's safety and well-being is our number one priority. We are not going to put your child in danger getting to school, and we are taking every precaution there is to make sure that carpool is of all things SAFE. There are many people at the district and city level meeting daily on this, and brainstorming every possible scenario to make sure that your student's commute is safe and efficient. If that means that we personally are standing in the carpool lanes every morning, then we will be. You have entrusted your children to us for 8 hours a day. This is a privilege that we do not take lightly. Please know that we will make sure your children are safe, loved, and are learning.





On a lighter note, we have had such a wonderful time meeting all of you and hearing about your precious children. We are almost through hiring staff, and thus far, have hired an exemplary team!!! This coming Monday we will meet as a staff to outline our vision for the school and our philosophy on students and learning- As well as sneak in a little fun. :) We are so excited!
