More Pictures!

It's looking good in there!!! Mrs. Webb and Mrs. Cypert were able to pop by last week for a sneak peek at all of there progress! It is looking great!

This is the entrance when you walk in the front doors.
This is taken from standing in the library looking out to the front entrance. Doesn't the library just make you want to curl up and read?!? We didn't take a picture of the backside of the library because there were workers over there. It has these magnificent curved windows with a seating area under them, facing out to a beautifully landscaped courtyard.
This is the front office. (Please note Mrs. Cypert already busy working:)
This is one of the Pod areas. The carpet is in and it looks fantastic!

This is a classroom in the blue pod that recently had carpet installed.

This is the boys restroom in the blue pod.
This is the Purefoy Gym.

It's coming along great! Hope you are enjoying the pictures. If you are coming to Kindergarten orientation tonight, we will see you there!!

  1. My biggest concern is safety for kids having to walk/ride bikes from eldorado fairways and country club ridge. Even with a sidewalk, Eldorado is a SIX lane expressway where cops give tickets on a weekly basis. The sidewalks are also not complete in our neighborhoods which forces kids to ride on the street. Also, no one has mentioned the golf green that is totally open at eldorado. A child could easily be hit in the head by a golf ball flying towards the green since there are no barriers between the street area and the golf course, and there are certainly golfers there during school travel times. And finally, our community park within our neighborhood just experienced and attack on a 16 yearold boy and a 12 year old boy. I know the district takes student safety seriously, but there seems to be many factors that have not been addressed. When I contacted the district I was told it would be monitored after school began and I just keep picturing an accident like the one at Pink all over again. I would like to see more of a proactive approach than a reactive approach.
