Book Fair is Coming!

Books and Donuts and Diplomas, oh my!

Next week will be a busy week celebrating college week and book fair. The children have been very excited to visit the book fair and are now looking forward to dressing up in their favorite college gear.

Week three and the children are back into the swing of things and working incredibly hard in their classrooms. I was able to catch a first grade class sharing their strategies in math this week. They discussed the many ways they created combinations of seven in a word problem. I love listening to first graders explain their thinking; they just love to share!

We have a lot of activities next week:

• Picture Day is Tuesday, September 18^th- information was sent home this week in Thursday Folders
• Donuts with Dads is Tuesday, September 18^th at 7:15am
• Book Fair Family Night is Thursday Night, September 20th from 6:00-7:30pm
• Camp Jolt Parent Information Night (5^th Grade Parents) is Thursday, September 20^th at 5:30pm in the grade level POD.
• Purefoy Spirit Shirts are still on sale.  Please see the attachment if you would like to order a shirt
