Hello Purefoy Families,
I have been looking forward to today all week! No! Not because it is Friday….because we were projected to have Fall weather today! This is my favorite time of the year! With cooler weather, please make sure to label jackets with your student’s name.
Last night, the teacher’s hosted a math night for our second through fifth grade parents. Their time was focused with hands-on activities and explanations of the many different approaches we use to teach our students conceptual understanding of math strategies. Thank you so much for joining us last night! I hope the information was useful. All resources and handouts will be available on our Purefoy Academy website (located on our school webpage) soon!
This week, I took over a fourth grade math class. We worked on tables and finding the secret rule for table X and table Y. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the students. They are a really cool group of kiddos.
