What a week!

What a beautiful Friday!

This week was one for the record books! Dorothy and her dancing entourage greeted students at the Fun Run on Monday… and our fifth graders camped this week at Camp Jolt! I am still trying to recover!



Thank you so much for supporting our runners this week. The children did a tremendous job! I really enjoyed seeing the kindergartners run and share laugh-out-loud moments with them! We did send our fifth graders to science camp at Lake Texoma this week. Mr. Wiley and I split our time with them. Fortunately, they had beautiful weather and great activities. Wednesday evening the night sky was amazing. Many of the children even commented on seeing countless stars; something we don’t always get to see so clearly in the city. I really enjoyed getting to know the fifth graders even more and meeting the wonderful (and very tired) chaperones.



Couple of reminders this week:

• Math Parent Night for 2nd-5th grade parents is Thursday, October 25th at 6PM. (see attachment)

• Picture re-takes are Tuesday, October 23rd.

• Chili’s Spirit Day is Wednesday, October 24th.

• Fun Run Pledge money is due by October 26th

• Box Tops are due! Please send them in by next Friday.

• Reflection projects are due by November 1st
