Hello Purefoy Families,
Did it take a little longer to get your kiddos out of bed this week? I know that my son was not very happy with me on Monday morning! Even though we were welcomed back with rainy days, it has been a nice week at school.
Today, we had our first Purefoy Spelling Bee! I was so proud of the students that participated and our audience of students did a great job remaining quiet and cheering at the correct times. Congratulations to William Ferguson, winner of the school spelling bee!
Next Thursday, January 17th, PTA is hosting a Multicultural Night. They have different restaurants donating food; it is a fun night to bring the family. We hope to see you there!
Monday morning the school will be participating in a lockdown and tornado drill. Teachers review the procedures with students prior to all drills. Attached, you will find a letter from Mr. Wiley regarding our tornado and lockdown drills.
